What we do

CAT KENYA

Legal Aid and Access to Justice

CAT provides legal assistance to survivors of torture, human rights violations, and vulnerable individuals seeking justice. Through case documentation, legal representation, referrals, and court support, we help clients navigate complex legal systems, protect their rights, and pursue accountability for abuses committed against them.

Psychosocial Support and Rehabilitation

CAT offers professional counseling, trauma-informed care, and psychosocial support services to individuals and communities affected by torture, violence, and other traumatic experiences. Our rehabilitation programs focus on healing, resilience-building, mental well-being, and empowering survivors to rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence.

Digital Advocacy and TFGBV Prevention

CAT leverages digital platforms, social media campaigns, online learning tools, and innovative technologies to promote human rights awareness and civic engagement. We actively advocate against Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV), including online harassment, cyberbullying, digital stalking, non-consensual sharing of intimate content, and other forms of technology-enabled abuse. Through education, awareness campaigns, research, and digital safety initiatives, we empower individuals and communities to navigate online spaces safely while advancing human rights and gender equality.
